Not only are there many truly epic, fun and amazing things to do and see in the Ft. Waterfalls everywhere, if you like waterfalls you’ll love the Little River Canyon National Preserve! It is called the Grand Canyon of the South! They have a cool visitor center as well as a very scenic drive that goes past many scenic overlooks that have different waterfall and canyon views depending on which one you stop at. And what scenic drive would be complete without stopping at the famous Mushroom Rock? And if that’s not enough waterfall goodness, we’ll take you on a short hiking trail down into the bottom of the canyon for more epic fun. If you still haven’t had enough waterfalls, we’ll go through Desoto State Park where they have short and very tall waterfalls to enjoy as well as other exciting natural attractions. But let’s not forget downtown Ft. Payne itself with all the history, culture, the oldest theater in Alabama, the former sock capital of the world and other fun things to look at.
